Our client, a reputable entity in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based within their busy yard and stores environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing essential yard support on site as a top priority
- Handling warehousing tasks efficiently, including inventory management
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the stores by organising, storing, and dispatching goods
- Assisting in other site activities to build skill sets and support various departments
- Operating forklifts, specifically using a B2 or B3 FLT licence
- Adhering to health and safety regulations within the yard and warehouse
- Collaborating with team members to ensure the efficient running of the yard and store
- Experience in warehouse or stores management operations
- Possession of a valid B2 FLT licence; B3 preferred
- Willingness and capability to work in both yard and store environments
- Understanding of health and safety practices related to the role
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Monday - Thursday: 7am to 3.30pm
- Friday: 7am to 2.30pm
