Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician role is to Service all fishing & remedial tools and related equipment.
Service quality, job preparation, planning and safety are key priorities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Participates in tool-box meetings with all members of the maintenance team.
- Is always fully compliant with the requirements of the QHSE policies, standards, and wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintains all equipment in good, safe working order according to standards and reports any problem or deviation to Maintenance supervisor.
- Understand and produce high quality products from mechanical drawings provided.
- Inspect, support, modify, assemble, maintain, pressure testing and repair all mechanical aspects of our equipment including rapid fault finding, evaluation and diagnosing of problems that occur, in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintains good housekeeping conditions in workshop.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 year experience in down hole tools preferably in Fishing and Remedial equipment.
- Minimum of 3 year experience in operating Break Out Machine (BOM).
- Must be able to work on their own initiative and read & understand technical drawings.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Uses logic to solve problems with effective solutions
