Quality Engineer

The RoleAs a Quality Engineer, you will support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO9001 standards. Working closely with engineers and technicians, you will promote a culture of quality excellence, ensuring products meet or exceed customer expectations while driving operational efficiency.
Training will be provided where required.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s AS9100 and ISO9001-compliant QMS.
Conduct internal audits to assess QMS effectiveness and highlight areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update operational and quality procedures.
Implement statistical process control techniques to monitor performance and drive improvements.
Address non-conformances and lead corrective action initiatives.
Provide training on quality principles and practices to colleagues across the business.
Contribute to management reviews and recommend enhancements to QMS performance.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar scientific discipline.
1 years’ experience in Quality Management, ideally within an AS9100 or ISO9001-regulated environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience interpreting measurement data.
Background in precision engineering.
Highly organised, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
