Key Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quality Engineer role
- Strong ability to interpret complex mechanical engineering drawings
- Experience producing inspection reports
- Willingness to train and support employees on quality-related topics
- CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS) would be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Working closely with manufacturing and reporting issues to production supervision
- Training operators in inspection techniques and equipment
- Producing routine final inspection trend analysis and reports
- Managing non-conformances and customer complaints using 8D / 5 Whys methodologies
