Our client is looking for an experienced Courier Driver
Temp - Perm
Be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of all shipments and enhancing the customer experience at every stage. It is essential to ensure that the companys principals are ethos are demonstrated at all times.
Responsibilities:
Ensure correct completion of Global Logistics provider/Customer data and documentation.
Accurately record working and driving hours to comply with road transport regulations.
Complete daily safety checks, safe loading / securing load of vehicle, maintenance, legislative/regulations.
Scanning and working quickly and efficiently to ensure warehouse deadlines are met.
Ensure correct completion of Global Logistics provider/Customer data and documentation.
Complete multiple deliveries and collections of shipments of a variety of shapes, sizes and weights.
The successful candidate will have:
Holder of a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years (Insurance Purposes only)-essential
Strong geographical knowledge and route planning skills.
Experience in a frontline, customer facing role.
Possession of, or would be prepared to obtain, a digital tachograph card.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Timetable -Monday to Friday & hours 07:00-16.30
£14.25 per working hour
