Description
As the EMEA Event Marketing Specialist you will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop promotional content for all event marketing tactics.
- Work with colleagues to elevate and extend the onboarding experience, contributing to the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.
- Lead decision making, planning and execution of all event marketing tactics; create, track, manage, and report work through dedicated marketing work management platforms.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting all event metrics to inform and improve future event marketing activities
- Responsible for 3rd party relationship management, including conference organisations, and the execution of 3rd party tactics.
Profile
The successful EMEA Event Marketing Specialist will have the following:
- Demonstrable experience within a similar role; ideally gained from working in the life sciences sector
- Excellent presentation skills, experience preparing and delivering talks, and communicating effectively to diverse audiences
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders who are globally dispersed and build good working relationships
- Ability to multi-task, managing a high volume of tactics from concept to execution to optimization
- Adaptable to change and able to pivot to accommodate changes in the market and business landscape
- Strong ability to deploy strategic multi-channel marketing with an appeal to customers in a scientific field.
Job Offer
The successful candidate will receive a competitive package, DOE and will be based Abingdon twice a week, with x3 days working from home.
