As the Deputy Manager, you’ll be supporting the Registered Operations Manager with the day to day running of a high quality and consistent domiciliary care service. You’ll lead a committed and competent staff team on a day to day basis, ensuring that care is delivered to a high standard and that the business flourishes.

The Deputy Manager role
- Supervise and support the office staff so that they are well-equipped to deliver their roles to a high standard.
- Monitoring of services to ensure that care is delivered at the right time and for the correct duration and that carers are skilled to meet the needs of the client.
- Deputise on a regular basis when the Registered Manager is out of the office
- Ensure that problems or issues are identified and resolved promptly
- Hold regular team meetings and supervision with staff
- Ensure that CQC KLOE’s are being met and complete effective quality monitoring
- Implementation of new care packages
- Develop good relationships with the commissioning teams
- Undertake personal training to develop your skills ready for a Registered Manager role
What we’re looking for;
- An experienced Deputy Manager / Care Manager with a background in managing domiciliary care / homecare staff
- Somebody with the ability to manage the office effectively in the absence of the Registered Manager
- Somebody with the drive and determination to progress into the Registered Manager role in future.
- Good knowledge of CQC standards
- QCF 3 / NVQ 3 in social care, and willingness to complete level 5
- Driver with own vehicle
