We are seeking a professional Executive Assistant to support a company founder and CEO. This role requires exceptional administrative and communication skills, as it involves supporting a high-profile individual across various commitments including work at a scientific company, speaking engagements, and scientific research activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage all diary and appointment scheduling for both private and company accounts.
  • Handle invoicing following speaking engagements and manage communications across various platforms including media, academics, politicians, and the public.
  • Organise complex and ever-changing travel plans both nationally and internationally.
  • Maintain up-to-date management of the individual's website and social media accounts.
  • Liaise with event managers to ensure all arrangements for engagements are meticulously planned.
  • Undertake research, media relations, and promotional work as required.
  • Act as the point of contact in the individual's absence, ensuring seamless communication between them and their laboratory.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with a professional telephone manner.
  • Strong IT and social media proficiency.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity at all times.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
