Pertemps Didcot are currently recruiting for a Cover Manager on behalf of a local secondary school in Abingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and interpersonal skills to play a key role in ensuring high-quality teaching and learning continues in the absence of staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day cover for absent teaching and support staff.
  • Coordinate and support cover supervisors.
  • Maintain and develop staff absence recording systems.
  • Liaise with supply agencies and manage related budgets.
  • Provide accurate data to support leadership decisions.
  • Ensure students receive appropriate learning materials during staff absences.
Requirements:
  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Experience working as part of a team and managing multiple priorities.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
  • Knowledge of Bromcom (or willingness to learn) is desirable
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS
