Day-to-day of the role:- Provide guidance on UK HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Act as a trusted advisor, challenging and supporting the development of our people.
- Develop and update UK HR policies and Staff Handbook in line with business needs and legal changes.
- Manage employee relations cases from initial advice to resolution.
- Collaborate with our Recruitment Manager to attract top talent.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of learning and development programmes.
- Work on change management and HR projects in collaboration with the Head of HR.
- Streamline HR processes and leverage the capabilities of the HRIS.
- Assist with HR programmes including pay reviews, employee surveys, and talent reviews.
- Use HR data and systems to generate reports and insights for decision-making.
- Promote wellbeing and support the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of employees.
- Deputise for the Head of HR as required.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (minimum).
- Practical understanding of employment law and strong HR knowledge.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills, credible with senior managers.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance people and business priorities.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a flexible, hands-on approach.
- Desirable: Experience managing HR projects or change initiatives, MBTI practitioner, experience in developing and running training sessions
