Account Manager / Technical Sales - Composites

Salary: 30,000-45,000 DOE + Benefits

The company supports a wide range of sectors requiring lightweight, complex, and precision-engineered composite solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically capable Account Manager / Sales Engineer to join a growing composites division. The role blends technical understanding with strong commercial and customer-facing skills, supporting clients from initial enquiry through to quotation and production.
The Role
The Account Manager / Sales Engineer will manage customer relationships, prepare detailed composite quotations, and coordinate internally to ensure smooth project delivery. You will act as the key interface between clients and internal engineering and production teams.
This position is on-site every day, in line with departmental policy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop client relationships within the composites sector
Produce accurate and detailed technical quotations for composite parts and assemblies
Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer communication
Liaise closely with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure feasibility and accurate costing
Maintain CRM systems, tracking opportunities, quotations, and project progress
Respond to technical customer queries and provide knowledgeable commercial support
Support internal project coordination and ensure smooth handovers
Identify opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts
Deliver high-quality customer service and account management
About You
Experience within composites, manufacturing, or a technical engineering environment
Competent in producing technical and commercial quotations
Mechanical Engineering degree or relevant engineering apprenticeship preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Highly organised and capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously
Comfortable working with engineers and understanding technical requirements
CRM and quotation software experience beneficial
