Role overview:

They are seeking a passionate and motivated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) specialist to join their dynamic Communications Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to contribute to their thriving MFL department. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Teach French to Year 7 students and Spanish to Year 8 students.
  • The school also offer’s Mandarin lessons to Year 7 students.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities to enhance students' language skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
  • Stay up to date with the latest research and CPD in language education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. 
  • Experience teaching French/Spanish/Mandarin at the secondary level. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students. 
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
