Selexa Biotech are partnered with an innovative technology client in Oxfordshire to support the growth and expansion of their manufacturing and production team. With applications across range of technologies, this is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Technician to begin their career in a dynamic engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and test sub-assemblies and tools to the required standard using production documents
  • Identify and report problems with manufacturing
  • Assist manufacturing to maintain and improve process and manufacturing quality
  • Support NPI in delivering on time product to the customer
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the production and cleanroom areas
  • Kitting of assemblies to the BOMs when required
  • Quality control of parts arriving for stock
  • Support the Operations team in maintaining Health & Safety standards across the business

Qualifications:

  • An Engineering or Educational qualification
  • Previous experience or knowledge of building and testing electromechanical devices
  • Previous experience or knowledge of wiring/soldering to IPC standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous measurements experience of oscilloscopes, multimeters etc
