Reed Accountancy have partnered with a continually growing business in South Oxfordshire who are seeking an experienced Accounts Coordinator to join their friendly team. This role is crucial for the efficient and timely preparation of monthly management accounts and ensuring the smooth operation of the Accounts Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Coordinate the Accounts function, including line management of the team.
  • Produce monthly accounts for internal purposes.
  • Carry out monthly payroll reviews and payments.
  • Provide information to Company Accountants for quarterly VAT returns and management accounts.
  • Manage month-end journals, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee credit control.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as required by the Senior Leadership Team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Thoroughness, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Comfortable with reviewing financial data.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and social skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Experience using Xero is beneficial, but not necessary.
