The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English Language, English Literature, and Media Studies across Key Stages 3–5.

Develop and deliver a varied and engaging curriculum, incorporating both traditional texts and contemporary media.

Encourage critical thinking, digital literacy, and analytical skills through creative teaching strategies.

Support student achievement through effective planning, assessment, and feedback.

Contribute to extracurricular initiatives, such as media clubs, school publications, film projects, and creative writing groups.

A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with experience teaching both English and Media Studies.
