We are seeking a Supply Chain Advisor to join our Supply Chain Centre of Excellence (SC CoE) within the Supply Function. This role is pivotal in managing and enhancing the digital tools and processes surrounding our Transportation Management System (TMS). The successful candidate will focus on improving efficiencies, evolving reporting, and reducing time taken for handling disputes, aligning with strategic goals.
Day-to-day of the role:- Lead the maintenance and improvement of the TMS and Logistics IT systems, working closely with the Supply Team to deliver strategic improvements on this project over the 12-month tenor of the contract.
- Own Supply Chain Analytics and oversee improvements within the Supply Roadmap team.
- Prepare and publish enhancements to the Supply Chain processes concerning Operational Logistics.
- Train new users and all users on system and process improvements.
- Develop a longer-term strategy for tools in this area, ensuring the most effective utilisation of existing tools.
- Knowledge of digital technologies and tool improvements.
- Experience in Supply Chain processes within the chemical industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop process and tool improvements.
- Proficient in data analysis with tools such as SAP, Excel, and BW.
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
