Our client, a leading surveying consultancy with a strong national presence, is seeking a PAS128 Utility Surveyor to join their growing team in Abington. With over four decades of experience and a multidisciplinary offering, the business provides high-quality utility mapping, topographical, engineering, and measured building surveys to clients across a broad range of sectors.

Operating at the forefront of underground utility detection, they specialise in delivering detailed PAS128-compliant surveys using the latest geophysical techniques and equipment, including ground-penetrating radar, electromagnetic detection, and GPS technology. PAS128 Utility Surveyor Job Overview
  • Delivering detailed underground utility surveys to PAS128 standard using a range of survey techniques
  • Utilising ground penetrating radar (GPR), electromagnetic location (EML), GPS, and total station equipment
  • Post-processing survey data to produce high-quality deliverables in line with client and industry requirements
  • Collaborating with project managers and site teams to ensure efficient data collection
  • Maintaining and calibrating survey equipment
  • Working across multiple projects and supporting multi-disciplinary teams as required
  • Liaising with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
PAS128 Utility Surveyor Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in utility surveying, ideally with knowledge of PAS128
  • Proficiency in the use of GPR, EML, and associated processing software
  • Strong understanding of survey principles and data capture techniques
  • Ability to produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings and reports
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary surveys would be advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to commute to the Abington office and travel to site
