An exciting business at the cutting edge of sustainable construction; delivering smart, low-carbon solutions to some of the biggest infrastructure and development projects across the country.

Our client asked us to recruit a Technical Manager to be the driving force behind the design, methodology, and delivery of stabilisation projects — leading innovation from bid to build.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Acting as the technical authority on soil stabilisation projects—design, specification, and methodology.
  • Supporting tenders with technical insight, pricing input, and programme planning.
  • Leading on H&S documentation, quality control, and technical delivery post-award.
  • Collaborating with clients, engineers, and site teams to deliver safe, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.
  • Mentoring and supporting internal teams with your technical expertise.
  • Championing continuous improvement—including new methods, materials, and technology.

What We're Looking For:

  • Background in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in soil stabilisation or ground improvement, ideally in a contracting environment.
  • Solid understanding of lime/cement stabilisation, earthworks, and ground remediation.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills—you’ll be working with clients, consultants, and site teams alike.
  • Comfortable with technical design, QA/QC, health & safety, and supporting commercial activities.
