Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Delivery Manager to join a United Utilities Civils partner.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing client relationships, building partnerships, and expanding their presence in the North West. You will be responsible for bringing in new projects and work, and once projects commence, you will oversee their execution, manage resources, and ensure optimal staff levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and partnerships.
  • Identify and secure new projects and work opportunities to grow the company's presence in the North West.
  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and clients.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management within the water industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AMP frameworks and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related field.
