About the Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and students remain engaged. You will support a variety of subjects and age groups, helping students to stay on track with their learning. This role is ideal for anyone looking to gain experience in the education sector or aspiring to pursue a teaching career.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervising and managing classrooms when the class teacher is absent.
Ensuring students stay focused and engaged with the lesson materials.
Maintaining good behaviour and a positive learning environment.
Offering support to students with their work, helping them where needed.
Monitoring and encouraging student progress, providing assistance as required.
Reporting behavioural issues to the appropriate staff, adhering to safeguarding protocols.
Supporting extra-curricular activities and contributing to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience working with young people, in either educational or other relevant settings.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
A calm, positive attitude with strong behaviour management skills.
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different subjects and teaching styles.
