About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Production Injection Moulding Night Setter to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will bring strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on machine operation experience, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment is properly set, maintained, and optimised to support smooth production throughout the night shift.



Key Responsibilities

  • Set machines and processing equipment to required specifications.

  • Use product flow charts to maximise production efficiency.

  • Apply the moulding concern procedure when required.

  • Set and load mould tools and dies using SMED techniques.

  • Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and correct processing conditions.

  • Perform regular process monitoring checks using Statistical Process Control (SPC).

  • Identify, analyse, and implement process improvement opportunities.

  • Work within development teams to introduce new materials, products, or technologies.



Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent mechanical aptitude with solid engineering understanding.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Clear and effective communication skills.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Experience with tools such as SPC, FMEA, and SMED.

Qualifications:

  • S/NVQ in Relevant Disciplines

  • Relevant industry experience in a similar setting
