Tradewind Preston are delighted to be working with an SEMH School within East Lancashire to recruit an experienced Learning Mentor to start with them in September 2025 on a long-term contract. This position will run until at least July 2025 with the potential to go permanent.

The successful candidate will work closely with staff and children to provide high quality in-class support, as well as leading targeted interventions and support for pupils. Classes have a maximum of 6 pupils in each.

The ideal candidate for this role will have had a minimum of 6 months experience working within SEMH/ Alternative Provisions or similar settings. Experience delivering small group and 1:1 intervention within Maths, Science or English to Functional Skills/ GCSE level.

The SEMH School has a warm family feel and staff make you feel welcome. Additionally, they have a strong SLT team and always happy to help develop staff that go in on supply. You are made to feel like a permanent member of staff wither your there for 1 day or long term.
