The Opportunity:
Calling all sports enthusiasts and aspiring educators! Are you a recent graduate in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field? Would you like to use your passion for sport to inspire and support children in both academic and pastoral settings?
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic Sports Graduate to join our school as a Teaching Assistant, working across PE lessons, interventions, and whole-school activities. This role is ideal for anyone considering a career in teaching, youth work, or coaching.
Key Duties:
- Support the delivery of PE lessons and promote engagement in physical activity
- Assist students who benefit from movement-based or active learning styles
- Lead sports clubs, games, and lunchtime/recreational activities
- Mentor students with additional needs or behavioural challenges
- Help manage behaviour and provide structure and motivation through sport
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A degree in Sports, PE, or Coaching - or substantial coaching experience
- Confidence in leading activities, managing groups, and motivating others
- A team player with a flexible, proactive approach
- A commitment to child development, wellbeing, and inclusion
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
