The Role

My client are expanding their team and are looking to hire a skilled Welder / Fabricator. You will be adopting their ‘right first time’ philosophy, being expected to achieve high standards of quality, with a focus on the continual improvement of working processes.

Welder / Fabricator

Main Responsibilities

·      Operate manual flame-cutting equipment.

·      Operate semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.

·      Undertake welding processes – MIG/MAG & TIG.

·      Bend and straighten metal – hammering, chipping and grinding.

·      Set up and operate fabrication machinery.

·      Contribute to continuous improvement.

Welder / Fabricator

The Candidate

·      Time served welder (or equivalent).

·      Knowledge of welding equipment MIG/MAG & TIG.

·      Knowledge of manual & semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.

·      Seam weld experience (Ideally).

·      Worked to ASME standards (ideally).

·      Experience of using fabrication machinery.

·      Laser equipment experience (Desirable).

·      Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
