Randstad is seeking an experienced "Contracts Manager" to join our growing regional civils team. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of diverse civil engineering projects across London and the South East, including regeneration schemes, junction improvements, and infrastructure upgrades within the energy and rail sectors.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading civils schemes from Early Design Information (EDI) stage through to final delivery.
  • Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with clients to ensure project success.
  • Actively participating in project planning and programme development, working alongside our Pre-Construction team and clients from the outset.
  • Managing site teams and supply chain partners, ensuring all work is completed safely and to schedule.
  • Developing and managing contractual programmes, and updating cost forecasts in partnership with the commercial team.
  • Developing your team through coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Ensuring the timely procurement of materials, plant, and subcontractors to meet project targets.
  • Assisting the Operations Manager in identifying new opportunities within the region.



You will need:

  • Proven experience in the delivery of multiple civils schemes or a major highways project.
  • A formal qualification in a civil engineering related subject (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
