The Role
An experienced Freelance Technical Services Manager (TSM) to oversee the building services aspects of fit-out projects. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing M&E services, ensuring full coordination with design, construction, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical services package (mechanical, electrical, and public health) across projects.
- Manage M&E design coordination between consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
- Review technical submissions, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance.
- Oversee installation works on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and programme are maintained.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers to provide technical solutions.
- Conduct inspections, snagging, and commissioning of building services.
- Support handover process with accurate O&M documentation and aftercare input.
- Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager (or MEP Manager)
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical & electrical building services.
- Ability to manage subcontractors, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Available on a freelance/contract basis
- Competitive day rate.
