The Chef de Partie duties include:
- Producing all necessary food for all food service operations as required.
- Ordering of food for your section of the kitchen.
- To ensure that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared, and on time.
- To ensure that all dishes reach the Pass correctly garnished the correct portion and size, presented on the prescribed serving dish in the prescribed manner.
- To ensure that the section is being kept clean and tidy at all times.
- To understand and comply with food hygiene regulations.
- To ensure that junior chefs and trainees receive the right training and optimum guidance for their development and roles.
- Ensure all Company Standards are adhered to in all departments at all times.
The ideal Chef de Partie will have/be:
- previous experience in a similar environment working with fresh produce
- a flexible and self motivated approach to work, ensuring they work as a team to achieve common goals.
- dynamic and decisive, by accepting personal responsibility for making things happen, by thinking ahead and developing contingency plans to best support the operation.
