HGV technician Night Shift

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting MOT preparations and Periodic Maintenance Inspections (PMIs).
- Performing general vehicle servicing and defect repairs.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using specialised truck diagnostic tools.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a productive and efficient workshop environment.

Skills, Experience, and Education:

   NVQ Level 3 qualification   
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and management.
- Knowledge/Expertise: Time-served HGV Mechanic experience with a deep understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Innovation: Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Business Impact: Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the depot.

Accountability:
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within set time frames.
- Provide leadership and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Hours Monday to Friday 18:00 to 06:00 

Pay rates £22 per hour
