Job Title:Quality Inspector
Location:Redditch (outskirts of Birmingham)
Salary:14.00 - 16.50 per hour depending on experience + shift premium
Hours:Twilight 4.30pm-2.30am
The Opportunity:
EMBS Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Inspector to join a well-established and innovative precision engineering company located on the outskirts of Southern Birmingham. About You:

We are looking for experience of working in a quality inspection role and proficiency with manual measuring equipment.
Essential Requirements:
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Ability to commute to Redditch, reside within a commutable distance or are considering relocation to this area.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English to effectively perform the role.
This position requires the successful candidate to undergo UK security clearance. To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the above essential requirements. Please note that due to the security clearance requirements, we are unable to sponsor visas for this position.
Skills Required:
- Experience of carrying out "first off" inspections using manual equipment
- Working to tight tolerances of 0.01mm
- Confidence with analyzing and recording results to be able to make appropriate quality decisions
- Strong ability to manage workloads effectively and work in an organized, efficient manner
