Market Research Analyst (UK and International)
An exciting new opportunity has emerged to join our client's industry-leading organisation. We are hiring for two positions: Market Research Analyst specialising in the UK, and Market Research Analyst specialising in international markets.
Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 p/a (based on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

As a Market Research Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, growth, and diversification within our client's organisation through comprehensive market and product analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer behaviour, competitor activities, and industry landscapes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Utilise data analysis tools to derive insights into business operations, informing sales and marketing strategies.
- Develop and deliver reports and presentations to communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse potential market opportunities and present recommendations to key commercial stakeholders.
- Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends in national and international markets and across diverse sectors.
- Assist in the strategic and tactical development of the marketing plan for both domestic and international markets.
- Use statistical software to analyse data and present business case scenarios supporting international market development.
- Provide market and customer foresight to support R&D with new product (NPD) and new service (NSD) initiatives.
- Prepare research/marketing briefs and manage projects with marketing agencies, channel partners, and other stakeholders.
- Lead the development and execution of market research, including methodology selection, identifying objectives, resourcing, managing budgets, and ensuring project delivery.
Requirements:
- BA (Hons) or higher degree in market research, business management, international business, or marketing with statistics.
- Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research approaches.
- Proven ability to develop prioritised research reports with actionable insights.
- Proficiency in commercial analytics and statistical techniques (e.g. SPSS, Google Forms, Google Garage, SurveyMonkey).
- Experience creating surveys and focus group screeners.
- Effective communicator in writing and presentations to technical and non-technical partners and audiences.
- Knowledge of management strategic decision-making tools (e.g., TOWS, Ansoff’s, BCG/Shell Matric)
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Driving licence and vehicle due to remote location
