Job Title: Chef de Partie
Reports to: Sous Chef or Executive Chef
Location: Hotel kitchen

Charge for accommodation: 76.00 GBP per week
We're looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our hotel kitchen team. As a key member of the culinary team, you'll be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, and contributing to the overall success of the hotel's food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a specific kitchen station (e.g., sauce, fish, grill, pastry)
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation
- Develop and implement new recipes and menus, in line with the hotel's culinary direction
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage inventory, minimize waste, and optimize kitchen resources
- Participate in menu planning, costing, and inventory control
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent
- Strong culinary skills, with expertise in a specific kitchen station
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, think critically, and multitask
- Physical stamina to work long hours and lift heavy objects
- Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ)
