We are looking for a sharp minded, confident Sales & Service Administrator for a growing engineering/manufacturing company experiencing a considerable growth phase over the last few years.
This is a Permanent job role, office based only and working hours from 9-5pm Monday to Friday.
The Role:
As a Sales Administrator, your primary focus will be on delivering excellent customer service throughout the sales process. You will act as a key point of contact for our clients, ensuring their enquiries, orders, and aftersales needs are handled professionally, promptly, and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling incoming customer enquiries via phone and email with a friendly, helpful approach
Processing sales orders and managing order updates clearly and efficiently
Preparing and sending quotations, invoices, and other related documents
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records
Following up with customers regarding quotations, lead times, and aftersales support
Liaising with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
Supporting the sales team with day-to-day administration tasks
Taking ownership of customer issues and following through to resolutio
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in a Customer Service, Sales Support or Administrative role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for helping customers
Highly organised, with great attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks
Confident and professional telephone manner
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Positive, proactive attitude and a team player mindset
Desirable:
Experience within a technical/engineering, or manufacturing business
Familiarity with CRM systems and basic sales processes
