Location: Aldershot / Farnham (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Month rolling
Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35)
About the Role
We are seeking a Test & Validation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role will focus on the design and execution of test solutions, with a strong emphasis on fixture design, test automation, and validation for next-generation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop test fixtures for vibration and durability validation.
- Conduct FEA analysis to ensure structural robustness of fixtures.
- Develop, optimise, and maintain automated test rigs, updating scripts in LabVIEW and/or Python.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to plan and execute test campaigns.
- Analyse and interpret test data, producing clear validation reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal quality procedures.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in test engineering within automotive, aerospace, or related industries.
- Hands-on expertise in fixture design and validation methods.
- Experience with FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Proficiency in LabVIEW or Python for test automation.
