Master Technician
Farnborough - Surrey
£50,000 basic + £18,000 bonus
8am - 5pm Monday – Friday, 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am - 1pm)

Our impressive franchised main dealer client in Farnborough is looking for an experienced Master Technician to join their team. The chosen candidate will be mentoring other technicians, as well as partaking in the usual duties of a Master Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality technical and diagnostic services to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and productivity targets.
  • Maintain and enhance technical expertise, ensuring compliance with manufacturer training requirements.
  • Speaking with customers and providing your technical opinion.
  • Supporting and tutoring the team, mentoring the apprentices on site.
  • Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of all your work.
  • Communicating with both the Service Reception team and Workshop Control team.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience in inspecting, repairing, and servicing motor vehicles.
  • Previous experience or qualifications as a senior technician or master technician.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience in a franchised dealership environment.
  • Fully EV qualified
