A well-established industrial manufacturer based in Farnham, Surrey is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to lead compliance and safety initiatives across its operations. The business is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety while progressing toward key environmental and occupational health certifications.
Role OverviewThis is a pivotal role within the operations team, responsible for driving health, safety, and environmental standards across the site. The successful candidate will play a key part in guiding the company toward full compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 by August 2027, while maintaining existing ISO 9001 standards.
Key Responsibilities-
Lead and manage all aspects of health & safety across the manufacturing site

Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and drive implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and risk assessments

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and incident investigations

Deliver training and awareness programs to staff at all levels

Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders

Provide pragmatic, solutions-focused advice to support operational teams

Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives

NEBOSH qualified (Diploma or equivalent)

Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within an industrial or manufacturing environment

Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards

Demonstrated ability to lead certification and compliance projects
