Job Overview:
We are looking for a Finishing Shop Operator with hands-on experience in metalworking and finishing. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a variety of machinery and techniques related to sheet metal and metal finishing. The position offers the opportunity to work either on the 1st or 2nd shift, based on the candidate's skill set and experience.
Hours:
1st Shift: 40 hours per week; Mon-Thurs: 06:30 - 15:15, Fri: 06:00 - 13:00 OR
2nd Shift: 37 hours per week; Mon-Thurs: 14:45 - 24:00
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain equipment such as CNC presses, brake presses, punch presses, band saws, and spot welding machines.
Conduct metal finishing operations such as deburring, fettling, linishing, polishing, and satin finishing.
Perform regular checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Work with various materials, ensuring precise measurements and quality of finished products.
Assist in machine setups, adjustments, and routine maintenance tasks.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
