MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Plant Operator to join an established renewable energy plant based near Towcester. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working on a(4 on, 4 off, days only basis, with a call-out rota in place. The role will support the Site Manager with the safe and efficient operation of the site, ensuring feedstock handling, equipment performance, and process standards are maintained.

As the Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Operating and maintaining plant equipment
- Loading and sorting of feedstocks using a Telehandler
- Monitoring plant performance via SCADA and assisting with downtime activities
- Conducting daily checks, routine inspections, and basic maintenance
- Supporting PPM activities and general site housekeeping
- Recording and analysing operational data to ensure process efficiency
- Working within safety, environmental, and quality frameworks
- Participating in weekend shifts, call-outs, and occasional remote monitoring
- Other duties as required

To be considered, you should have:
- Previous experience in an operational, process, or agricultural setting
- Telehandler experience or willingness to be trained/licensed
- Confident working in physical, outdoor, and occasionally dirty environments
- Basic understanding or interest in mechanical/electrical systems
- Ability to follow procedures and adapt to changing site needs
- Awareness of health & safety protocols (confined spaces, working at height etc. – training provided)
- Full UK driving licence is essential
