- Our Walsall-based client is seeking a Production Operative with basic Carpentry/Joinery experience to join their team.
- Key responsibilities include measuring wood accurately, using saw machines to cut wood, and employing nail guns and hand tools to build frames.
- Candidates must have previous experience in carpentry or woodworking and be able to read a tape measure to the millimeter.
- The position requires a good work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and be trained in various areas.
- The working hours are from 07:30 to 15:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 to 12:45 on Friday, with a competitive salary offered.
Duties
Measuring wood to correct size.
Using saw machines to cut wood to size
Using nail guns and hand tools to build frames.
Desirable Requirements:
Must be able to accurately read a tape measure to the millimetre
Have experience using nail guns, hand tools and production machinery
Previous carpentry/joinery/woodworking skills preferred
Good attention to detail and work ethic
Desire to learn and be trained in different areas of the business
The suitable applicant must have previous proven experience, have the ability to work on own initiative.
Working:
07:30-15:30pm Monday to Thursday, 07:30-12:45 Friday
