ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, analysing project requirements, and working closely with clients, design engineers, operations, and commercial teams to deliver competitive and profitable bids.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry standards.

Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have substantial experience estimating electrical schemes up to 11kV (experience up to 33kV is advantageous) and ideally possess:

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical industry standards, including ENA and G81.
• Understanding of civil industry standards, including NJUG, traffic management, and permits.
• Familiarity with Distribution & Independent Network Operators (DNOs/IDNOs) and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs).
• Knowledge of EV (Electric Vehicle) infrastructure and renewable energy systems.
• Experience with Windebut or ConnectGrid is highly desirable
