Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our team on-site. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CSCS card and have a strong commitment to safety and quality work. This role is essential in supporting various construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and clearing of construction sites, including the removal of debris and hazardous materials.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as required for ongoing projects.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and assist tradespeople in their tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety on-site.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with site policies.
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
- Full UK Driving licence essential
- Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to follow instructions and report issues promptly.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- A proactive approach to health and safety practices on-site.
- Flexible to work overtime both during the week and at weekends, dependant on needs of construction projects.
- Nights out may also be required dependant upon location of projects.
