LV Cable Jointer

One Call Consultants are looking for an LV Cable Jointer to join our new large client based in Aldridge Walsall

Job Description:

Main Activities & Duties

• Install and commission electrical infrastructure as instructed, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions
• Accept delivery of plant and materials and check suitability for purpose prior to use Complete site-specific risk assessments daily and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment
• Submit relevant work details e.g as builts and as laids drawings
• Ensure that all NERS work is undertaken in line with NERS operational procedures and method statements.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience of working with IDNO / ICP
• Live jointing experience
• Switching and linking
• IDNO operational authorisation
• SHEA Power / CSCS Card or equivalent
• City and Guilds or equivalent experience or qualification
• Experience of working on construction sites
• Able to fully understand drawings and utility plans

Candidates must hold full driving licence and be prepared to travel and work away nationwide when required.

Salary will depend on experience, hours of work are around a 06.30 start with a minimum of 8 hours a day paid with plenty of overtime available
