Sonic Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician / Mechanic for a permanent position near Aldridge, Walsall.
The role offers a salary of up to £43,360.00 depending on experience, based on a 45-hour work week.
Candidates must have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance and proven experience in commercial vehicle repair.
Key skills required include strong diagnostic abilities, understanding of electronics and hydraulics, and excellent communication skills.
The position involves diagnosing faults, servicing vehicles to VOSA standards, and maintaining accurate records while working independently and managing time effectively.

We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician / Mechanic to join our clients team near Aldridge, Walsall. This is a permenant position.

Up to 43,360.00DOE (based on 45hpw)

45 hours per week | between07:00 and 16:30Monday to Friday

The Person:

The Role:

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on chassis and mounted equipment
Service vehicles to VOSA standards and prepare them for MOT inspections
Complete body and chassis repairs and ensure compliance with Department of Transport specifications
Maintain accurate records and enter job details into company systems
Liaise professionally with customers and work independently at customer sites
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to company standards
Follow health and safety procedures and conduct risk assessments where required
Undertake training to enhance technical skills and knowledge
