About the Job

Are you a seasoned financial professional looking to advance your career? Join our dynamic team in Aberdeen as a Senior Accountant. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the preparation of reports, records, and accounts to support management decision-making and ensure robust financial controls are in place. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with all group, regional, and HMRC financial policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly Management Accounts pack and ancillary reconciliations.
  • Ensure company compliance with all group and regional financial policies and HMRC requirements.
  • Develop and manage weekly cash flow forecasts and cash monitoring.
  • Create annual and interim budgets.
  • Produce ad hoc management reports.
  • Supervise the Accountant and provide general finance support to all staff.
  • Assist operations staff with financial matters.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required.

Person Specification

Education/Qualifications:

  • Part qualified CIMA or ACCA.
  • Qualified CIMA or ACCA (Desirable).

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 Software.
  • Flexible approach to tasks and roles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in working to deadlines.
  • Experience in financial analysis and strategic decision-making (Desirable).
