Are you a Workshop Supervisor or similar with experience in hydraulic systems, looking for a varied, hands-on, workshop-based role in the Oil & Gas industry?

Do you want to lead a small team working on specialist equipment like mud pumps, top drives, hoisting equipment, and more-within a brand-new division where you can truly make your mark?

With sites across the globe, this company is expanding rapidly and opening new divisions due to continued success. They specialize in equipment repair, installation, and hydraulic systems servicing for the energy sector. Their reputation for service excellence and staff development makes them a sought-after employer in the region.

On a day-to-day basis, you'll oversee the assembly, testing, and repair of drilling and handling equipment, including components such as DCV valves, hydraulic cylinders, air/hydraulic winches, and control consoles. You'll also support with hydraulic fitting identification and quality assurance checks. This is a predominantly workshop-based position with occasional offshore or client site work every few months.

This role would suit a hands-on Supervisor or Technician with a strong background in hydraulics and oilfield equipment, looking for a stable days-based role with overtime available and long-term progression.

The Role:

  • Supervise a team of technicians in a busy workshop
  • Build, test and maintain equipment including pneumatics, cylinders, valves, pipework, and hydraulic sub-assemblies
  • Work with hoisting and handling equipment, such as winches and top drives
  • Occasional offshore/site visits (every few months)
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 4:30, with overtime at 1.5x

The Person:

  • Workshop Supervisor / Technician
  • Hydraulics knowledge (experience with mud pumps, DCVs, winches, or similar equipment)
