HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER

Hours: MONDAY - FRIDAY - 05:30 - 08:00 starts

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

People Solutions are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to make multiple deliveries for our well established client based in South Normanton, Derbyshire. This role will become permanent for the right candidate after a successful twelve-week period.

Rates of pay:

Monday to Friday £14.50 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
Make deliveries ranging from RDC to residential properties
Heavy lifting may be involved.
Caged deliveries to fuel stations
Provide excellent customer service
Multi-drop deliveries 15 - 18 drops per day.
Ensure vehicle is well presented
Comply with driving rules and regulations
Be prepared for various shift lengths

Essential Skills:

Hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence for a minimum of 2 years
2 years experience driving Class 2 vehicles
Hold a valid UK CPC Card
Hold a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
No major endorsement codes
Positive 'Can Do' attitude
Good communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Must undergo a DBS check for this role
Must be reasonably physically fit as heavy lifting involved

Training:

Drivers will be required to take a written assessment and driving assessment followed by 5 hour induction
Industry related training and ongoing support
