HOURS: - Sunday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:00 - Permanent Role

SALARY: £51,085.16 basic salary per year

BASE: Eurocell Head Office, South Normanton, Derbyshire

We have a great opportunity for a Shift Manager to join our Nickel Warehouse Team, based at our Award Winning Head Office and Distribution Centre in South Normanton, just off J28, M1.

WHAT OUR WAREHOUSE SHIFT MANAGERS DO:
  • Ensure the Warehouse operational team adhere and comply to allCompany Health and Safety standards
  • Take effective action to eliminate/reduce risks
  • Ensure manual handling and MHE assessments are all completed in full
  • Ensure risk assessments, SOPs and safe systems of work are monitored and updated
  • Maintain H&S documentation
  • Manage the team's compliance training and ensure all are up to date and recorded
  • Ensure warehouse KPIs are communicated clearly to all levels
  • Adapt and relay the shift plan throughout the shift as required
  • Control and review of resources, SOPs, equipment, and performance
  • Provide a hand's on presence (c70%)
  • Ensure HR processes and procedures are completed consistently
  • Complete PDRs on time and in full
  • Ensure Training needs are identified, and robust training is delivered or arranged, and the matrix is updated
  • Provide consistency of approach across all teams

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR WAREHOUSE SHIFT MANAGERS:
  • Robust understanding and commitment to delivering high standards of health and safety principles
  • Excellent communication, with the ability to engage Team Leaders and Operatives
  • Ability to convey messages and expectations re. expected KPIs and behaviours
  • Previous experience of managing and developing a team
  • Budgetary and resource planning experience
  • Ability to deliver business change and continuous process improvements
  • Confident to produce accurate KPI updates and reports, analyse non-compliance reports and implement effective measures to prevent future non-compliance
