Credit Controller | Up to £30,000 | Full Time | Onsite - Alfreton

Macildowie are working with this client based in Alfreton to recruit a Credit Controller for their established and fast-paced organisation within the supply chain and logistics sector.

This permanent role offers a competitive salary of up to £30,000, and the opportunity to join a collaborative and customer-focused finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively chase overdue debt while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Escalate unresolved payments and place accounts on hold where necessary
  • Maintain accurate notes and ensure procedures align with company credit policy
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Claims and Customer Care
  • Support cash allocation, raise pro-forma invoices, and produce monthly statements

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous Credit Control experience
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision is advantageous
  • High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
