Manufacturing Cutter / Fabricator

Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire
Salary: Competitive salary, Pension Scheme, 23 days holiday plus statutory, Life insurance, Employee Assistance Programme and Profit Related Pay
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3.30 pm Mon-Thu and 7 am to 2.00 pm Friday
Contract: Full time, Permanent

Due to the forecasted continued growth of our business, we are seeking to recruit an additional Manufacturing Cutter / Fabricator to join our team.

The Role

  • Cut A-Frame and KFB components as per stock replenishment requirements.
  • Bend components as necessary to ensure correct functionality of components.
  • Drill components as necessary to ensure correct functionality of components.
  • Linish components as necessary to achieve an acceptable finish.
  • Carry out fettling as and when required to ensure component availability for painting
  • Ensure components meet specifications and standards. Inspecting for accuracy and adherence to design

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

  • 3 Years + experience in fabrication
  • Able to operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all health and safety procedures
  • Able to read and follow engineering drawings
  • Work on own initiative, check work and solve problems
  • Produce work to a high quality
