- Pay Rate: 110 - 130 per day
- Contract: Full-time, long-term placement
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 15.30
- Start Date: 3rd November 2025
The Opportunity
A welcoming and forward-thinking school in Alfreton (DE55) is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their supportive team. Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with the curriculum and school priorities.
- Lead targeted interventions for individuals and small groups to support learning.
- Promote positive behaviour, focus, and engagement in lessons.
- Cover classes when teachers are unavailable, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and the pastoral team to support student development.
What We're Looking For:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent secondary school experience.
- Confident working with KS3 and KS4 pupils.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
- Flexible, resilient, and committed to helping every pupil succeed.
- A proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
