Quality Control Assistant

Derbyshire (DE55)

Up to £35k DOE + Health care + Pension

Our client is a leading provider of high-quality clothing and textile solutions to a wide range of industries in the UK and globally. With a long-established history as an industry innovator and having retained the traditional character of a small close knit and committed team, the business is looking to succession plan into key roles - offering a unique opportunity to gain true autonomy and responsibility in a dynamic and spirited business environment.

Reporting directly to the Quality & Compliance Manager we are looking for someone to train under an experienced industry leader – in the delivery of quality control inspections and the maintenance of the quality system. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a QA role and ideally have experience of fabrics and clothing products – although with the right attitude we would consider experience from other quality driven environments. You will demonstrate an ability to understand and test products against a Quality System, as well as manage remedial actions, customers, colleagues and suppliers. You will understand H&S requirements across the site and support the effective delivery of robust measures to meet company requirements. An eye for detail and a strong commitment to compliance is essential – as is the ability to problem solve and offer solutions.

This a great opportunity to develop your quality skills with the support of a manager committed to developing your skills and experience to take on more responsibility. The ideal candidate would aspire to Quality Management within 2 to 3 years.
